Welcome parents!
I've created this page especially for my SRHS art students' parents for quick access to pertinent information as well as helpful links.  Students can download handouts and Powerpoint presentations from class in the student section .  There are also a ton of resources for students in the student section about my National Art Honor Society, careers in art, etc.

Art Booster Update:
The SRMHS Art Boosters have already been a great support for the art teachers and it´s only been established for one semester. They meet once a month. For more information, visit their yahoogroup or e-mail the faculty contact for the Art Boosters Jodi Aker at jsaker@wcpss.net.

Interims
Interims are given every 3 weeks to help keep progress of every student at SRHS. If you prefer to have interims e-mailed rather than depending on your son or daughter to bring it home, please e-mail me and I´ll add you to my list.  Interims will be mailed home either the same day they are given in class or the day before. You can reply to the e-mail rather than signing the paper version.

Things you can give
We´re always looking for donations to the art department or National Art Honor.  I also have had parents to donate large items like a potter's wheel in honor of their art student when they graduate.  You can also bring in items for my scrap box that you may be throwing away at home.  All donations are considered tax deductible and will receive a letter upon request.
