Adam Fuss English, born 1961; lives New York, New York Untitled, from the series Details of Love, 1995 Unique cibachrome photogram mounted on acrylic Fuss uses photography without the use of a camera. Such procedures recall the earliest photographs of the 1830's and 1840's. Anthony Goicolea American, born 1971, lives New York, New York Midnight Kiss, 2004 and Blizzard, 2001 This guy is my age and has an unbelievable collection of work double that of some of the other photographers' in the exhibition. Giocolea photographs lots of self-portraits in very theatrical schoolboy scenarios. All the children/teenagers are actually Giocolea in staged settings. http://www.anthonygoicolea.com/

Vik Muniz Brazilian, born 1961; lives New York, New York Eleven Eggs, from Dirt Series, 1997 Vik Muniz's photographs are very abstract and highly symbolic such as the Eleven Eggs that will be represented in the In Focus Exhibition. Paul Shambroom American, born 1955, lives Minneapolis, Minnesota Stockton, Utah (population 567), Town Council, June 11, 2001, 2001 Archival pigmented inkjet on canvas with varnish Paul Shambroom photographs ordinary scenes from town meetings and school boards like a modern-day Rockwell. Shambroom deals with Identity and Place by contrasting low level power versus high level power. The process is an interesting technique that we can probably mimick with watercolor ink jet paper or canvas ink jet paper that we have in limited supply. Photo prints could then be embellished with other media such as paint, oil pastel, charcoal, etc.
