Sketchbooks Home/ Students / Sketchbooks
Sketchbooks are a priceless art form for artists to use as a visual dairy/journal, preliminary sketches, and learning tool. Any Visual Art class at SRMHS requires that you purchase and keep a sketchbook.
Did you know that you could use your sketchbook for portfolio review when applying to art schools and colleges? Sketchbooks should be a personal expression of you and your ideas and not feel like something you only do as homework assignments. Sketch as often as you can during class and at home and you may later be able to count something as one of the sketchbook assignments on my list.
I will give you a sheet of assignments every three weeks. Choose two assignments each week to do and show me on Friday. Feel free to be proactive (Covey Habit #1) and get ahead by doing future assignments.
